Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Solid experience in protection engineering for substation automation
- Proven expertise in protection schemes for (sub)transmission substations
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61850
- Strong knowledge of substation automation architectures
- Experience with Hitachi Energy Relion® protection IEDs (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take technical decisions
- Ability to manage interfaces in complex projects
- Strong communication skills
- Structured, quality-driven mindset
- Fluent English
- German language skills (advantageous)
Tasks
- Lead Control & Protection engineering in substation automation projects
- Define protection concepts and philosophies with technical leads and customers
- Coordinate Protection & Control detailed engineering with SCADA, station control, and cyber security
- Specify, configure, and test protection IEDs according to customer requirements, grid codes, and standards
- Support and lead Factory Acceptance Tests at test facilities

- approx. 4 - 6 years
Education
- Bachelor's degree

- English – Fluent
- German – Basic
