Requirements

  • •Master or Ph.D degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or related majors
  • •Proven solid experience in designing highly compact and efficient DC-DC converters
  • •Familiarity with isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converter power topologies
  • •Familiarity with high switching-speed semiconductor devices (Si and GaN) and gate-driver design
  • •Participation in internal and external events (e.g., conferences, workshops)
  • •Fluent communication in English
  • •Experience in requirements definition and design of DC-DC converters for computing applications is a plus

Doctoral / PhD

Work Experience

approx. 1 - 4 years

Tasks

  • •Select and optimize power topologies based on requirements
  • •Develop simulation models to estimate losses in compact power supply modules
  • •Propose new concepts and patents for DC-DC converters
  • •Design advanced control and modulation schemes for DC-DC converters
  • •Produce insight reports on DC-DC converter topologies and components
  • •Conduct feasibility analysis of innovative concepts for DC-DC converters
  • •Build and maintain partnerships with industrial institutions and universities in Europe
