Principal Power Electronics Engineer - Computing Systems (Datacenter, Telecom, ASICs, xPU, HPCs)(m/w/x)
Technical supervision for BMP, PSiP, VRM product roadmaps and power architectures in computing systems. Master's or PhD in electrical engineering or related field, with proven R&D experience in high-frequency power supplies required. Language courses in German and Mandarin, healthy canteen meals.
Requirements
- Master or Ph.D degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or related majors
- Proven experience in research and development of high-frequency high-efficiency high-current power supplies
- Good understanding of power management architecture of datacenters, xPU, and HPCs
- Knowledge about system level power supply design for xPU and HPCs
- Knowledge about power management techniques to improve overall efficiency of xPU and HPCs
- Fluent communication in English and very good presentation skills
Tasks
- Provide technical supervision for projects related to BMP, PSiP, and VRM products
- Develop roadmaps for power management and supply in computing systems
- Propose new technical solutions for power management challenges in xPUs and HPCs
- Innovate system-level power management and architectures for xPUs and HPCs
- Produce patents and publications in power management and supply for xPUs and HPCs
- Create insight reports on DC-DC converter topologies and related technologies
- Conduct feasibility analyses of new concepts for DC-DC converters in computing applications
- Establish and maintain partnerships with industrial institutions and universities in Europe
- Represent the research center at conferences and workshops
- Supervise and mentor less experienced colleagues
