Requirements
- Based in Basel, Switzerland
- Up to 40% global travel
- Experience shaping visual storytelling with distinctive creative voice and strong authorship
- Ability to source & develop compelling stories in regulated industry
- Skill in developing narrative concepts from strategy to screen
- Strong instincts for pacing, emotion, and audience engagement
- Extensive experience in freelance or agency, and/or extensive portfolio as high-end producer/director in commercial, documentary storytelling
- Experience demonstrating creative prowess
- Breadth and depth of portfolio
- Creative achievements
- Proven experience leading and managing production crews, creative teams, external partners
- Solid experience directing on-camera talent (executives, employees, non-actors)
- Confidence and clarity in directing
- Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, camera language
- Ability to guide technical teams toward intended aesthetic
- Experience with AI filmmaking tools and techniques
- Ability to incorporate innovations into workflow
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Relevant academic achievements

Tasks
- Lead end-to-end production of high-impact cinematic video.
- Direct and produce global shoots.
- Uphold creative vision, technical excellence, and storytelling integrity.
- Lead flagship projects as producer or director.
- Set visual tone and narrative style.
- Collaborate with writers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Transform objectives into compelling visual stories.
- Build and maintain an elite production network.
- Focus on boutique agencies balancing cost and quality.
- Oversee camera, lighting, audio, and gear logistics.
- Ensure readiness and reliability for global shoots.
- Manage productions in diverse environments.
- Adapt to cultural and logistical challenges.
- Integrate AI and emerging technologies into workflows.
- Champion cost-effective, high-quality storytelling.
