- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years HR business partner or Employee Relations experience in Germany
- Fluent English and German
- Experience with local employee representative bodies, works councils, or trade unions
- Experience/knowledge of Employee Relations for other European countries
- Additional European language skills
Tasks
- Advise on employee relations matters
- Support Germany and Austria initially
- Build relationships with HR, legal, and union representatives
- Investigate employee complaints and performance issues
- Resolve misconduct allegations compliantly
- Drive employee relations solutions
- Minimize risk and align work to business needs
- Improve employee morale and culture
- Coach managers and employees at all levels
- Conduct investigations into HR policy violations
- Manage performance and disciplinary issues
- Address discrimination and harassment claims
- Provide prompt and effective conflict resolution
- Consult on employee relations policies and practices
- Partner with ER Lead on investigations
- Gather and create documentation
- Make and implement resolution recommendations
- Consult with legal and labor experts
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws
- Promote good employee relations
- Interact with HR Business Partners
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Manage highly confidential HR information
- Exercise sound judgment in handling confidential data
- Maintain strong business acumen
- Work with multiple HR Business Partners
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Collaborate with remote locations via phone and video
