In this role, you will drive public policy goals by shaping government affairs strategies and advocating for patient access to therapies. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure that patient needs are at the forefront of initiatives.

Requirements

• •University undergraduate degree in science or business
• •Higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageous
• •Minimum of 6-8+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, patient advocacy, or related field
• •Proven track record in government affairs and patient advocacy strategies
• •Strong understanding of healthcare landscape, regulatory and legislative processes
• •Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• •Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
• •High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical conduct
• •Strong social skills for cross-functional collaboration
• •Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
• •Proficiency in using communication tools and software
• •Fluency in German and English

Tasks

• •Develop and implement government affairs strategies
• •Build and maintain relationships with government officials
• •Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments
• •Advocate for policies enhancing patient access to treatments

• •Prepare position papers and policy briefs for stakeholders

• •Represent the company at advocacy events and conferences
• •Ensure alignment of advocacy initiatives with company values
• •Work closely with internal departments on strategy alignment
• •Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on public policy
