Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Psychometrics, Pharmacy, Biostatistics, or related field
  • Ph.D. preferred
  • 5+ years applied experience in health outcomes research
  • Demonstrated leadership in COA/PRO methodology and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated expertise in COA/PRO methodology and regulatory requirements
  • Strong ability to analyze and validate COA data
  • Strong ability to apply COA validation methodologies
  • Strong ability to derive regulatory-ready insights
  • Ability to develop strategies for optimal clinical outcome strategy
  • Ability to implement tactics for optimal clinical outcome strategy
  • Optimal clinical outcome strategy addressing market access or regulatory needs globally
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing external vendors
  • Understanding of electronic COA migrations
  • Understanding of latest eCOA implementation standards
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders

Tasks

  • Lead COA strategic planning and execution
  • Develop COA plans for products across therapeutic areas
  • Own COA Strategy Document for each program
  • Guide internal teams in selecting appropriate COAs
  • Provide input into clinical documents throughout trial lifecycle
  • Lead scientific execution of COA projects with external vendors
  • Ensure adherence to COA regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Oversee COA validation and interpretation
  • Ensure psychometric evidence meets regulatory and HTA criteria
  • Collaborate on COA data analysis and reporting
  • Prepare COA-related regulatory and scientific documents
  • Lead relevant sections for regulatory agencies
  • Stay current with COA-related scientific organizations
  • Incorporate advances in COA methodologies into programs
