- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies
- Secure supply for business-critical Aroma Chemicals
- Manage categories according to 2030 procurement strategy
- Improve raw material implementation into categories
- Analyze markets and implement risk management strategies
- Lead sourcing strategy development for key categories
- Execute major RFQs and important negotiations
- Negotiate global procurement contracts
- Select, manage, and audit suppliers
- Identify and develop portfolio optimization plans
- Implement Scope 3 PCF reduction initiatives
- Oversee primary supplier relationships
- Lead escalated supplier conflict resolutions
- Communicate demand and specification changes to suppliers
- Ensure material contract coverage and supplier compliance
- Maintain vendor performance at target levels
- Update internal stakeholders on changing market conditions
- Support responsible sourcing and sustainability projects
- Provide data for business planning processes
- Develop and execute cost reduction projects
- Forecast prices and trends for important commodities
- Build and develop a team of category buyers
