Senior Eyewear Designer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years industrial design experience in eyewear
• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial/Product Design or related field
• Strong professional design portfolio (conceptualization, process, production-ready products, renderings)
• Expertise in 3D CAD software
• Excellent product visualisation skills
• High proficiency in 2D design tools
• Strong understanding of eyewear manufacturing processes
• Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced team
• Leadership and mentorship abilities

Tasks

• Lead industrial design for new product development
• Lead portfolio development and seasonal releases
• Ensure alignment with Creative Director, brand strategy, and market needs
• Generate innovative concepts via sketching
• Develop concepts using 3D modeling
• Create prototypes for design validation
• Conduct user research for design decisions
• Validate concepts through user research
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models
• Develop specifications for manufacturing partners
• Produce renderings for internal and external use
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design feasibility
• Ensure designs are manufacturable within cost and time
• Develop and maintain the company's product design language
• Develop and maintain CMF (Color, Material, Finish) standards
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Adhere to project timelines and deliverables
• Stay informed of industry trends
• Monitor material innovations
• Track emerging technologies
