Requirements

  • University education in Economics or Engineering with focus on Business
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing within the IC-Development Industry
  • Solid technical understanding of IC-Development flow, semiconductors supply chain, and industry trends
  • Experience in Communication Strategies, Project Acquisitions, and Key Account Management
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic mindset with experience in Business Strategy Development and strong network in IC-Development ecosystem
  • Fluency in German and English with excellent communication skills

Tasks

  • Acquire R&D projects for IC-Design
  • Focus on Sensorics, RF, mm-wave communication, and radar applications
  • Acquire industrial partners, especially Start-ups and SMEs
  • Collaborate with academic institutions and research centers for IC-Design projects
  • Define a clear business strategy leveraging SAL's unique value proposition
  • Expand the customer base and identify new markets
  • Co-develop service offerings and research strategies with Engineering and Research teams
  • Provide insights into current trends and industry developments
  • Identify opportunities and challenges in the market
  • Manage key accounts for premium partners
  • Develop service quotations for clients
  • Maintain an efficient and agile customer database
  • Liaise with Marketing, PR, and Engineering on marketing campaigns
  • Create press releases and manage social media communication
  • Represent SAL at internal and external events
  • Organize and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events
