Tasks
- Define business and data requirements
- Align data models across aviation industry value streams
- Evolve the Airline Industry Data Model (AIDM) based on industry standards
- Ensure IATA’s enterprise data model aligns with industry-agreed vocabulary
- Model business and data requirements for industry standards
- Develop data exchange specifications for industry standards
- Ensure proposed amendments to standards are interoperable and integrated
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Optimize data models in alignment with enterprise architecture and data strategy
- Translate business and functional requirements into normalized data models
- Support scalable data platforms with dimensional and integration-oriented data models
- Define and enforce enterprise data modeling standards
- Implement naming conventions, data definitions, domain models, and data type governance
- Collaborate with industry and internal data teams to design data flows
- Design integration patterns and target-state data architecture
- Support data engineering teams by troubleshooting data-model-related issues
- Optimize schema designs and reverse-engineer models from relational and non-relational platforms
- Deliver training and consulting sessions on modeling tools and methodologies
- Provide hands-on support for data modeling and standards best practices
