Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong understanding of financial and business landscape in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Northern Europe markets
- Expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, particularly in channel finance and sales-focused environments
- Experience analyzing customer-level profitability, pricing, and margin optimization
- Ability to partner with commercial teams, provide decision support, and collaborate on strategy formulation and execution
- Analytical ability to interpret complex financial data and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, SAP, Power BI, or similar financial tools and systems
- Fluent in English (required)
- German language proficiency is advantageous
- Communication and relationship-management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and commercial teams
- Leadership experience, including managing, developing finance teams, and fostering a high-performing work environment
Tasks
- Act as the main finance contact for Sales teams
- Provide strategic financial insights and guidance
- Lead customer and channel profitability analysis
- Identify performance drivers, improvement areas, and growth opportunities
- Support commercial strategy development and execution
- Integrate financial insights into decision-making
- Manage and mentor the Channel Finance team
- Build a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Enhance functional capabilities
- Oversee Channel area forecasting
- Ensure forecast accuracy, timeliness, and alignment
- Drive month-end and year-end close processes
- Deliver accurate and timely financial results
- Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop corrective action plans
- Enhance financial models
- Create robust reporting tools
- Improve forecasting accuracy and visibility
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Provide financial advice and recommendations
- Influence business outcomes
- Ensure compliance with corporate finance policies
- Support audit requirements
- Maintain disciplined balance sheet reviews
