Senior Buyer - Branded & Partner Store Channel(m/w/x)
Developing core and complementary assortments for Columbia Sportswear's branded and partner stores. Product-driven merchandising expertise and stakeholder influence required. Significant product discounts and soft mobility policy.

- Experience connecting product strategy with retail environments
- 8-10 years experience in buying, merchandising, or assortment planning
- Experience in apparel, footwear, or sportswear industry
- Strong understanding of assortment architecture and category management
- Experience with non-integrated retail networks (franchise, wholesale, multi-brand)
- Ability to structure assortments across multiple store types/markets
- Experience collaborating with commercial teams and external partners
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced understanding of retail industry and metrics
- Strong analytical thinking with pragmatic decision making
- Experience in sportswear, outdoor, or active lifestyle brands (advantageous)
Tasks
- Cluster stores based on size, location, and consumer profile
- Define a core assortment structure shared across the network
- Develop complementary assortment modules for different store types
- Build and manage strategic assortments to achieve financial KPIs
- Monitor net revenue, margin, and inventory management
- Manage financial investments, sell-out analysis, and in-season price adjustments
- Guide partners in building the right volume and product mix
- Propose assortment recommendations aligned with Columbia’s product strategy
- Support partners in building seasonal unit projections
- Balance brand priorities with local market realities
- Ensure alignment between Columbia’s product strategy and store-level execution
- Move from case-by-case assortment decisions to a structured buying framework
- Improve clarity and consistency in assortment definitions across markets
- Support the long-term development of the Partner Store business across Europe
