- •Quantify radiation exposure of machine components
- •Contribute to the design of shielding solutions
- •Optimize shielding for final focus quadrupoles
- •Conduct radiation background studies for experiments
- •Carry out particle-matter interaction studies with FLUKA
- •Implement geometry models for FCC-ee machine studies
- •Assess expected radiation levels from beam losses
- •Evaluate synchrotron radiation emission in experimental insertions
- •Collaborate with beam physicists on particle tracking studies
- •Participate in the conceptual design of radiation shielding assemblies
- •Work with mechanical engineers to develop shielding concepts
