Quality-SPAP specialist(m/w/x)
Coordinating and releasing supplier production processes in a PPAP-like environment. Several years of supplier quality experience in industrial manufacturing required. International dynamic environment, flexible working model.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable technical field
- Several years of experience in supplier or production quality
- Experience in automotive or comparable industrial manufacturing environment
- Solid hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, and structured series release processes
- Strong knowledge of quality methods and tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP)
- Experience with mechanical components (cast iron or machined parts)
- Turbocharger-related experience (advantageous)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 (advantageous)
- Experience with supplier audits and process validations (plus)
- Good SAP and MS Office skills
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge (plus)
- Structured, proactive, and hands-on working style
- Strong sense of ownership
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
- Very good German skills (spoken and written)
- Very good English skills (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%)
Tasks
- Coordinate and review supplier production processes
- Release supplier processes in a structured PPAP-like environment
- Assess supplier manufacturing processes and evaluate risks
- Define sustainable improvement measures for supplier processes
- Review and challenge FMEAs, control plans, inspection plans, and process flows
- Support suppliers through sample approval and series release
- Perform on-site supplier process assessments and requalification
- Evaluate process robustness, serial capability, and control measures
- Ensure part quality with Engineering, Technical Purchasing, and Incoming Goods Inspection
- Actively involve relevant stakeholders and ensure cross-functional alignment
- Lead initiatives to improve supplier processes and product quality
- Analyze quality KPIs and derive targeted improvement actions
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
