Quality Engineer - Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)(m/w/x)
Defining surface and volumetric inspection techniques for welded, forged, and cast components. NDT certification Level II/III (EN ISO 9712) required. Subsidized company restaurant.
Requirements
- Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering or comparable field
- Relevant professional experience in quality-related project environments, preferably mechanical and plant engineering
- NDT certification (VT, MT, PT, UT, RT) Level II/III according to EN ISO 9712 or comparable qualification
- Experience with SNT-TC-1A (advantageous)
- Experience with welded, forged, and cast components
- Basic German language skills
- Very good English skills
- Good MS Office knowledge; SAP knowledge (advantageous)
- Willingness to travel (at least 70%)
- High resilience and strong commitment
- Strong communication and team-oriented mindset
Tasks
- Create, revise, and approve inspection and procedural instructions
- Serve as the point of contact for NDT topics
- Manage NDT qualification and certification processes
- Define appropriate surface and volumetric inspection techniques
- Plan and execute inspections per contractual and standard requirements
- Coordinate quality activities with project stakeholders within defined scope
- Plan and perform supplier inspections and acceptance tests
- Ensure project activities meet quality requirements
- Prepare, review, and approve project NDT quality documentation
