Quality Engineer(m/w/x)
Ensuring quality and environmental compliance for advanced cable technologies. University degree and 3-5 years of industry experience required. SAP knowledge is a plus.
Requirements
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Quality management, Environmental Science or related technical field
- 3-5 years of industry experience, ideally in similar position
- Exceptional data analysis, problem identification, confrontation, and resolution
- Experience with lean manufacturing/improvement tools (e.g., 5S) and problem-solving methods desirable
- SAP knowledge is a plus
- Independent, self-driven, and teamwork ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written), ability to build professional relationships
Tasks
- Coordinate and ensure quality and environmental compliance
- Maintain high quality standards across processes, products, and services
- Support alignment of quality system with site and Pwr-T standards
- Consolidate and report safety indicators
- Monitor and resolve quality issues
- Follow up on non-conformities
- Track non-quality costs
- Lead root cause analyses of internal process deviations
- Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions
- Define, monitor, and report quality KPIs
- Analyze customer feedback for technical improvements
- Enhance product performance based on customer feedback
- Coordinate FATs with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure technical compliance during FATs
- Produce FAT reports
- Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits
- Update department procedures as necessary
- Perform process confirmations and validations
- Harmonize local quality system with Pwr-T business group
- Develop and maintain inspection and test plans
- Conduct regulatory and normative monitoring
- Integrate regulatory requirements into internal processes
- Perform environmental compliance analyses
- Liaise with the Group on environmental regulation updates
- Report environmental documentation and KPIs to the Group
- Propose and implement environmental impact reduction initiatives
- Conduct internal safety audits
- Perform safety observations on workstations
- Conduct job desk analysis with operators
- Ensure monthly safety reviews with the factory
- Provide weekly safety reporting
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Improve automation of customer certificates
- Optimize traceability process for seamless tracking
