Requirements
- •University degree or equivalent with strong business component
- •Minimum 15 years of underwriting experience in multiple specialties of Casualty
- •Liability insurance experience in the APAC region
- •Experience with Global international business and International Programmes
- •Solid skill set around Product Recall and Construction GL
- •Strong business acumen for Primary casualty business
- •Established track record of creating solutions with senior brokers and clients
- •Ability to prioritize and work on multiple priorities
- •Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
- •Self-motivated to drive and own topics independently
- •Excellent communication skills and advanced portfolio management skills
- •Ability to apply sound commercial judgment
- •Fluency in English, other languages would be an asset
- •Encouragement for experienced professionals returning to workforce

- •Support the Line of Business Head with portfolio strategy and insights
- •Frame underwriting insights and identify trends for specific actions
- •Assist with cycle management and planning activities
- •Identify opportunities for profitable segmental growth
- •Share underwriting expertise through regular training sessions
- •Mentor junior and senior underwriters in Market Units
- •Ensure adherence to sound underwriting practices
- •Monitor coverage scope and identify performance trends
- •Review and approve policy wordings and clauses as needed
- •Act as an expert referral for multiple Market Units
- •Lead trendspotting initiatives in APAC
- •Assess potential trends and determine necessary actions
- •Drive projects related to Corso's top priorities
- •Simplify processes for renewal business
- •Manage complex topics like emerging risks
- •Independently plan and execute product development projects
- •Act as the point of contact for Line of Business requests
- •Support critical presentations for internal stakeholders
- •Collaborate with senior stakeholders, brokers, and clients
