Procurement Specialist - Professional Services Consulting(m/w/x)
Category strategy development and competitive tender issuance for indirect spend at global AI-driven procurement partner. 5+ years professional services sourcing experience required. Dynamic, international environment, Great Place to Work-certified.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (Supply Chain concentration or MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 5+ years (ideally 10+) in Professional Services Sourcing, with contract and commercial negotiations, ideally in categories like Consulting, Tax, Accounting, Audit, Legal Services and HR Services
- Proven sourcing and negotiation experience with major suppliers
- Ability to draft and negotiate contracts with minimal legal support, ideally including structuring contracts with multiple Schedules, Annexes and Attachments globally
- Experience in identifying savings opportunities and leading negotiating strategies
- Strong relationship management, deal structuring, vendor management, and procurement expertise
- Proven capability with multi-million-dollar sourcing projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
- German proficiency is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage
- Ability to prioritize initiatives under tight deadlines
- Professional, committed, motivated, and flexible team player, dedicated towards delivering meaningful results
- Client/stakeholder focus within the corporate environment with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and executive project sponsors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, often to tight deadlines, and deliver results

Tasks
- Lead clients through category strategy development
- Issue competitive tenders
- Negotiate and execute compliant contracts
- Advise on supplier capabilities and best practices
- Develop and implement value-driven procurement strategies
- Provide insights into supplier offerings
- Develop innovative solutions for category strategies
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities
- Identify and deliver savings and value improvement opportunities
- Lead RFPs, RFIs, and competitive bidding processes
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, service levels, and performance metrics
- Partner with clients to understand needs and priorities
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships
- Ensure quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Resolve delivery, quality, and cost issues
- Analyze spend data for savings and efficiency
- Mitigate supplier reliability and market risks
- Support sourcing initiatives of varying complexity
- Evaluate bid proposals for supplier selection
- Shape deals to meet business requirements
- Draft contracts based on standard terms
- Negotiate contracts for optimal commercial terms
- Maintain market awareness of supplier landscapes
- Contribute to sourcing area plans and business development
- Establish strong relationships with business partners and clients
