Requirements

  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD in chemical engineering, natural sciences, engineering, mechanics, or chemistry
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in technology licensing and plant engineering
  • Professional experience in hydrogen or syngas technology and design of chemical plants
  • Ammonia or methanol experience
  • Business development (technical related) experience
  • English (fluent or native proficiency)
  • Solution-oriented mind-set
  • Team-oriented
  • Willingness to travel abroad

Tasks

  • Lead the design and implementation of synthesis gas and hydrogen plants
  • Represent the HyCO Product Line as technology and product owner during proposals
  • Combine production technologies with syngas conditioning and purification technologies
  • Analyze customer information and design needs
  • Oversee solution development activities for HyCO technology and products
  • Select suitable technical solutions and optimize process schemes
  • Define scope and integrate solutions with project execution plans
  • Ensure competitive solutions focusing on OpEx, CapEx, and Total Cost of Ownership
  • Coordinate with peers on multi-technology proposals
  • Provide technical support to sales representatives during project development
  • Offer HyCO expertise for greenfield and revamp business projects
  • Support competition reviews and benchmarking during solution development
  • Highlight development needs for HyCO technology based on project feedback
  • Coordinate continuous improvement of HyCO design rules
  • Facilitate the exchange of lessons learned between proposal and project teams
