Requirements
- 5 years' experience in commodities operations or precious metals trading
- Understanding of LBMA/COMEX standards, international bullion markets, and refining/tolling processes
- Advanced Excel skills

- Ability to manage multiple concurrent trades

- Strong numeracy and P&L sensitivity
Tasks
- Manage the full gold bullion and doré trade lifecycle
- Coordinate between internal divisions and external counterparties
- Execute fast-paced intraday trades and settlements
- Manage tolling processes and unallocated accounts
- Verify counterparty invoices, certificates, and assay reports
- Review RJC Chain of Custody and transport documentation
- Track and manage prepayments
- Coordinate material receipt and processing with refineries
- Monitor material flow through the refining process
- Reconcile input and output weights for integrity
- Nominate surveyors for high-risk suppliers
- Verify LBMA Good Delivery and RJC certification standards
- Coordinate quality protocols with WSMD
- Monitor and manage high-value fraud risk exposure
- Coordinate specialized bullion logistics
- Manage vault onboarding and external relationships
- Ensure customs compliance for HS codes and export documents
- Handle Custody Transfer Documents
- Invoice T/T, prepayments, and cash-on-delivery payments
- Manage payment in ounces
- Handle VAT complexities for gold, silver, and tolling
- Coordinate account management with bullion banks
- Monitor trade and operational exposure
- Maintain real-time data accuracy in the Trafigura ERP
- Coordinate pricing confirmations with the Deals Desk
- Assist with developing new desk service systems
