Requirements
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical sales, market access, or key account management
- Strong knowledge of Swiss healthcare system, hospital procurement, reimbursement processes
- Strong network with accounts in region MID&WEST
- Very strong negotiation skills
- Very strong communication skills
- Ability to develop clear and crisp account plans
- Proven track record of leading diverse teams laterally
- Strong cross-functional mindset
- Highly skilled in coordinating across internal teams and Business Units
- Deliver a seamless, unified customer experience
- Proven track record of successful development and implementation of multi-stakeholder projects
- Projects in the healthcare setting
- Proficiency in French
- Proficiency in German
- Proficiency in English
- Proficiency in Italian is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel extensively within Switzerland
- Strong collaboration with office-based colleagues
- Regular presence in the office of Boehringer Ingelheim Switzerland in Basel
Tasks
- Lead Key Account Management in MID&WEST region
- Shape and execute Key Account strategies
- Provide lateral leadership to colleagues
- Develop and execute Key Account plans
- Partner with priority accounts to co-develop initiatives
- Streamline care pathways and elevate patient outcomes
- Contribute to robust real-world evidence
- Secure timely formulary inclusion
- Analyze and synthesize insights from multiple sources
- Understand account potential, pressures, and needs
- Build trustful relationships with key accounts
- Collaborate to improve patient outcomes
- Deliver joint value for customers and Boehringer Ingelheim
