Requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or comparable field
- Several years relevant finance experience, preferably manufacturing/industrial
- Strong knowledge of accounting, controlling, cost accounting
- Strong knowledge of German GAAP and US-GAAP accounting
- Experience with shared service or finance service center models
- Solid understanding of group reporting structures and corporate finance requirements
- Strong analytical skills, hands-on, business-oriented mindset
- High independence, ownership, communication skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office
Tasks
- Oversee plant accounting and finance
- Lead plant budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Adhere to local, corporate, and external reporting standards
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Coordinate closings with the Finance Service Center
- Prepare, coordinate, and validate group reporting packages
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies
- Adhere to corporate reporting standards and deadlines
- Liaise with central finance functions
- Implement group finance guidelines
- Monitor group reporting requirements
- Collaborate with central finance and other stakeholders
- Analyze production, cost, and performance KPIs
- Provide transparent financial reporting
- Support the Plant General Manager with decision-making
- Identify financial risks and opportunities
- Develop actionable recommendations
- Support CapEx investment decisions
- Support business case development and profitability analyses
- Ensure compliance with internal policies
- Adhere to legal and financial governance standards
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
- Coordinate internal audits
- Continuously improve and standardize plant financial processes
- Support operational and transformation projects
