In this internship, you will engage in cutting-edge neurophysiology research, collaborating with a diverse team while conducting experiments and presenting findings. Your work will focus on understanding synaptic impairments in motor neuron disease models.

Requirements

• •Enrollment in a PhD or medical degree program
• •Strong interest in neurophysiological mechanisms
• •Excellent data analysis and programming capabilities in Python
• •Solid understanding of calcium imaging methods and molecular biology
• •Previous experience with iPSC-derived cell cultures
• •Motivation and passion for advancing neuroscience research

Tasks

• •Conduct laboratory research
• •Collaborate with a team of scientists and students
• •Perform patch-clamp recordings and calcium imaging from neurons
• •Conduct immunohistochemical stainings
• •Execute standard molecular biology techniques
• •Implement advanced analysis methods for time-series data
• •Present research findings in internal meetings
