Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
- 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering, Operational Excellence, Supplier Quality, or related functions
- Experience in the automotive industry (plus)
- Fluency in English
- French language skills (nice to have)
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (PFMEA, SPC, 8D, CAPA, Lean, Six Sigma)
- Experience conducting supplier audits and managing qualification activities
- Good knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Internal auditor certification
- Ability to travel for supplier audits (up to 15%)
Tasks
- Monitor, analyze, and report operational quality KPIs and process performance indicators.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and quality risks across operations and the supply chain.
- Review and approve qualification documentation, test reports, and release criteria for new or modified products and processes.
- Lead structured root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, 5 Why).
- Define, implement, and validate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce product defects, COPQ, and operational risks.
- Provide guidance and training on quality tools and best practices.
- Conduct supplier audits (qualification, requalification, and performance).
- Evaluate supplier capability to meet product quality requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of non-conformities from operations, supplier audits, or qualification activities.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to strengthen process reliability and product quality.
- Record inspection and control results in quality systems or control sheets.
- Ensure compliance of production processes with internal standards, customer requirements, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Ensure effective implementation of corrective actions.
