Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as Observability Engineer, Monitoring Engineer or similar
- Practical experience with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry and related tooling
- Experience designing and operating telemetry pipelines
- Experience with observability in distributed systems and cloud native architectures
- Experience with LLM observability for AI/ML workloads
- Experience migrating monitoring platforms (strong plus)
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
- Experience with on-premises environments, Microsoft virtualised infrastructures
- Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash, JSON, YAML)
- Experience deploying Observability solutions as IaC (Terraform)
- Good understanding of IT service management processes (plus)
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Fluent English verbal and written communication skills
Tasks
- Design and implement observability solutions
- Operate and improve observability platforms
- Implement telemetry collection for metrics, logs, and traces
- Design scalable telemetry pipelines
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and service level indicators
- Integrate observability platforms with IT service management
- Support migration from legacy monitoring to modern solutions
- Troubleshoot complex performance and availability issues
- Collaborate with application teams and service owners
- Provide consultative guidance on observability best practices
- Contribute to observability standards and best practices
- Contribute to observability strategy and technology evaluation
- Create and maintain operational documentation
