Requirements

  • 10+ years of successful closing experience in complex, high-value enterprise software or SaaS sales
  • 5+ years of dedicated Enterprise experience managing and expanding large, strategic accounts
  • Prior experience in a similar external-facing Internal ENT AE / external ENT AE / Strategic AE role
  • Track record of consistently exceeding quota in deep account penetration and multi-year contract structuring
  • Ability to craft and articulate a compelling value proposition at the executive level
  • Exceptional negotiation and deal-structuring skills in long-cycle enterprise sales processes
  • High degree of autonomy, discipline, and strategic thinking to manage a valuable account list

Tasks

  • Manage an exclusive portfolio of 5-10 Named Accounts in the ENT DACH segment
  • Execute outbound strategies to penetrate and deepen relationships within these accounts
  • Oversee full account management and expansion as the primary DeepL executive
  • Act as a business partner to understand and align with customers' strategic priorities
  • Secure multi-year, strategic commitments through patience and persistence
  • Engage with C-level executives to establish credibility and influence decision-making
  • Define and implement comprehensive multi-year account strategies for expansion
  • Drive complex negotiations to structure deals that maximize mutual value
  • Coordinate internal resources to execute strategic account plans
