Requirements
- •Experience managing large-scale Kubernetes deployments
- •Experience with observability tooling
- •Experience with GitOps or Terraform
- •Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
- •Knowledge of SCM, GitOps, and CI/CD
- •Knowledge of containers and orchestration
- •Collaborative work skills
- •Spoken and written English
- •National of CERN Member State
- •Bachelor's or Master's in Computing Science
- •No previous CERN graduate contract
- •Possession of a University degree
- •No PhD qualification

Tasks
- •Operate and evolve the monitoring infrastructure
- •Develop software using Go, Python, and Java
- •Support end-user integration and consulting requests
- •Solve technical problems for the user community
- •Debug performance issues on distributed systems
- •Resolve availability issues across the infrastructure
- •Maintain a portfolio of central monitoring solutions
- •Manage technologies like Grafana, Prometheus, and Kubernetes
- •Work with Apache Kafka, OpenSearch, and Spark
