Requirements
- Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life/Health Sciences; MD/Dr. med./PhD preferred
- Proven experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or vaccine-related therapeutic areas; strong preference for vaccines expertise
- Deep understanding of local healthcare environment, scientific societies, and policy landscape
- Sound knowledge of pharmacovigilance, regulatory frameworks, and promotional/non-promotional review processes
- Excellent scientific communication skills, ability to tailor complex data to diverse audiences across omni-channel formats
- Strong collaboration and project management skills in matrixed, cross-functional settings
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German strongly preferred
Tasks
- Lead peer-to-peer scientific exchange in priority vaccine areas
- Serve as subject matter expert for healthcare professionals and academic partners
- Interpret and communicate clinical evidence, guidelines, and real-world data
- Identify and follow up on study concepts and emerging data
- Map and prioritize relationships with key stakeholders and scientific networks
- Initiate collaborations and projects with external partners
- Drive early outreach and tailored scientific engagements
- Plan and execute medical-scientific strategic plans for the vaccine portfolio
- Generate and share high-quality medical insights for strategic planning
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations on feasibility and study support
- Contribute to local evidence generation initiatives
- Support medical training for field and commercial colleagues
- Champion medical compliance and professionalism
- Ensure adherence to Codes of Practice and company SOPs
- Report adverse events and product complaints
- Maintain accurate documentation of external interactions and activities
