- •Knowledge of mechanical assembly and design principles
- •Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- •Practical experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment
- •Basic computer skills for documenting and reporting
- •Good communication skills
- •Ability to work effectively in a team
- •Previous knowledge of vacuum technology
- •Spoken and written English or French
- •Maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation
- •Highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma
- •Valid driving licence
- •Exposure to electromagnetic fields under certain exposure conditions

- •Assemble vacuum components and sub-assemblies
- •Conduct leak detection and quality control before installation
- •Participate in the installation of vacuum components in the SPS tunnel
- •Perform pumpdown, leak detection, and commissioning activities
- •Support logistics and procurement for vacuum chambers and related equipment
- •Document acceptance tests and interventions for traceability and reporting
