Tasks

  • Define mechanical requirements
  • Develop mechanical design concepts
  • Elaborate and evaluate constructive solutions
  • Create design specifications and drawings
  • Perform detailed tolerance analyses
  • Create quality assurance test specifications
  • Execute component and device tests
  • Participate in FMEA meetings and documentation
  • Execute sample builds and inspections
  • Perform Design to Cost analyses
  • Conduct Design to Manufacturing analyses
  • Review technical drawings and development documents
  • Support technical agreements with suppliers
  • Coordinate with internal production teams
  • Develop quality assurance test procedures
  • Collaborate with purchasing and technical service
  • Manage design transfer to series production
  • Act as a technical expert for the team
  • Participate in synchro and improvement processes
  • Execute cross-sectional tasks to improve design quality
  • Perform FEM simulations
  • Comply with safety and environmental regulations
