Mechanical Design Engineer(m/w/x)
Designing engineered components and sub-systems for healthcare and advanced manufacturing, including detailed tolerance analyses. Degree in Medical, Mechanical, or Precision Engineering required, with experienced 3D CAD knowledge essential. Work with advanced 3D CAD systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Medical, Mechanical, or Precision Engineering
- Methodological knowledge of design systematics

- Knowledge of standards and IEC 60601

- Teamwork skills
- Ability to take technical leadership roles

Tasks
- Define mechanical requirements
- Develop mechanical design concepts
- Elaborate and evaluate constructive solutions
- Create design specifications and drawings
- Perform detailed tolerance analyses
- Create quality assurance test specifications
- Execute component and device tests
- Participate in FMEA meetings and documentation
- Execute sample builds and inspections
- Perform Design to Cost analyses
- Conduct Design to Manufacturing analyses
- Review technical drawings and development documents
- Support technical agreements with suppliers
- Coordinate with internal production teams
- Develop quality assurance test procedures
- Collaborate with purchasing and technical service
- Manage design transfer to series production
- Act as a technical expert for the team
- Participate in synchro and improvement processes
- Execute cross-sectional tasks to improve design quality
- Perform FEM simulations
- Comply with safety and environmental regulations
