Requirements

- 10 years’ experience leading a supply chain organization
- 10 years’ experience in ESS/ILSS functions
- Working knowledge of manual and automated supply accounting systems
- Working knowledge with DPAS
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Willingness to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Physical capability to perform all required duties; capable of lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs
Tasks
- Supervise ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing of parts for USAF asset repairs
- Ensure compliance with AFI, PWS, and QMS standards
- Perform record keeping and report preparation for supply point functions
- Formulate procedures to procure parts based on priority from supervisors
- Update supply inventories and prepare status reports as directed
- Implement quality assurance measures and provide feedback to subordinates
- Order, track, inventory, and process all parts requirements
- Establish special demand levels to meet production needs
- Prepare and submit Quality/Material Deficiency reports as needed
- Consolidate and submit required reports to Superintendents promptly
- Respond to USAF requests for documentation related to production efforts
- Participate in the USAF Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) program
- Ensure quality of outgoing requisitions and receipt of parts
- Check received parts for correct type and quantity
- Assign bin locations and annotate listings upon receipt of parts
- Expeditiously place requested parts on order and affix document control numbers
- Use DPAS Warehouse for receipt and issuance of all parts
- Conduct semiannual inventories on all parts and equipment items
- Guarantee quality of the bench stock program and conduct monthly inventories
- Perform random checks on document accuracy and parts requests
- Annotate parts records with document numbers after processing
- Follow up on parts status with the Maintenance Control Specialist
- Maintain a clean work area to the highest standards
- Perform TDY in operations as required by USAF tasking
- Review safety plans and policies for compliance with regulations
- Participate in safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure employee safety training and education
- Provide leadership and resources for an effective safety program
- Perform other qualified duties as assigned
