- Hire, coach, and grow 4-6 specialists
- Set priorities and distribute work
- Manage dependencies across projects and vendors
- Conduct performance management and career development
- Foster a culture of technical excellence
- Oversee platform operations across the technology stack
- Build and maintain a strong interface with AO IT
- Co-own platform decisions with IT
- Ensure compliance with IT governance and security
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts
- Coordinate vendor sprints and releases
- Perform technical evaluations of new tools
- Own the evaluation & assessment data pipeline
- Structure data for actionable insights
- Set direction for AI-powered education tools
- Guide development of structured data assets
- Evaluate emerging technologies for roadmap decisions
- Represent learning technology in governance forums
- Serve as interface between Education Design and IT
- Ensure team operates within IT governance frameworks
- Adhere to security policies and data privacy standards
- Contribute to budget planning
- Participate in technology investment decisions
- Engage in cross-functional governance reviews
