Requirements

  • •Master's degree, equivalent relevant experience in Law, or related field
  • •Knowledge and experience in legal and legal-drafting work
  • •Experience with drafting internal regulations (advantageous)
  • •Experience with EU and international regulations (advantageous)
  • •Knowledge of Environmental Law
  • •Knowledge of Labour Law and Health and Safety legislation
  • •Knowledge of EU regulations
  • •Drafting and writing of legal documents
  • •Structured and organised approach towards work
  • •Effective communication and logical expression
  • •Flexibility and openness to new ideas
  • •Ability to work autonomously
  • •Teamwork and information sharing skills
  • •Spoken and written English and French

Work Experience

Tasks

  • •Draft and review health, safety, and environmental policies
  • •Advise on legal matters within the HSE mandate
  • •Support strategic orientations for safety at the organization
  • •Provide legal guidance for HSE initiatives
  • •Assist internal and external safety committees
  • •Support committees established through Host-State agreements
  • •Offer legal expertise to HSE stakeholders
