Description

As a Lead Corporate Internal Auditor, you will drive internal audit missions, assess risks, and present findings to senior management. This role involves mentoring junior auditors and contributing to the development of audit methodologies while managing various audit projects.

Requirements

• •Master’s degree in Auditing, Corporate Finance, Business Management, or related field
• •Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, ideally in a global B2B environment, with prior external audit exposure
• •Proven experience in the shipping industry
• •Strong understanding of international auditing standards and risk management frameworks
• •Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• •Advanced proficiency in Excel, MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and data analysis tools
• •Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• •Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• •Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and ability to work independently under pressure
• •EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit (B or C) required

Tasks

• •Lead planning and execution of internal audit missions
• •Conduct pre-audit risk assessments and define audit scopes
• •Apply international audit standards and internal audit methodology
• •Present audit findings to senior management and propose remedial actions
• •Oversee follow-up on audit recommendations and support implementation
• •Mentor junior auditors and promote knowledge sharing
• •Contribute to developing audit programs and identifying emerging risks
• •Manage ad-hoc audit projects and provide strategic input to leadership
