Requirements

  • 8+ years progressive HR experience with labor relations exposure
  • Law degree (Swiss law preferred) or Master's in Human Resources
  • Deep expertise in Swiss labor laws and international HR compliance frameworks (asset)
  • Experience designing or improving internal policies
  • Proven experience leading complex workplace investigations
  • Solid experience managing sensitive employee relations in highly regulated environments (banking/financial services preferred)
  • Proven experience in banking or multinational companies with matrix models
  • Advanced HRIS systems knowledge, particularly Workday
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Fluency in Spanish, English, and French
  • Swiss residency or willingness to relocate

Tasks

  • Ensure compliance with Swiss labor law and agreements.
  • Manage employment contracts and modifications.
  • Lead complex negotiations.
  • Mediate employee disputes.
  • Coordinate disciplinary actions and grievances.
  • Supervise occupational health and safety compliance.
  • Provide expert legal guidance to leaders.
  • Represent the company before labor authorities.
  • Lead workforce restructuring processes.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and adapt policies.
  • Contribute to insurance and pension processes.
  • Implement Santander Group HR framework.
  • Maintain updated HR policies and procedures.
  • Implement and monitor HR audit and compliance.
  • Lead HR regulatory reporting.
  • Manage internal and external HR audits.
  • Act as HR risk owner.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate labor risks.
  • Lead internal workplace conflict resolution.
  • Lead whistleblowing and grievance investigations.
  • Conduct and oversee sensitive investigations.
  • Ensure confidential and fair investigations.
  • Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk.
  • Recommend disciplinary or corrective actions.
  • Monitor complaint trends and propose prevention.
  • Ensure alignment with Code of Conduct.
  • Guide managers on conflict prevention and escalation.
  • Lead critical HR projects and delivery.
  • Improve employee data and processes.
  • Implement Workday absence management.
  • Roll out collective health insurance schemes.
