Requirements
- 8+ years progressive HR experience with labor relations exposure
- Law degree (Swiss law preferred) or Master's in Human Resources
- Deep expertise in Swiss labor laws and international HR compliance frameworks (asset)
- Experience designing or improving internal policies
- Proven experience leading complex workplace investigations
- Solid experience managing sensitive employee relations in highly regulated environments (banking/financial services preferred)
- Proven experience in banking or multinational companies with matrix models
- Advanced HRIS systems knowledge, particularly Workday
- Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships at all levels
- Fluency in Spanish, English, and French
- Swiss residency or willingness to relocate
Tasks
- Ensure compliance with Swiss labor law and agreements.
- Manage employment contracts and modifications.
- Lead complex negotiations.
- Mediate employee disputes.
- Coordinate disciplinary actions and grievances.
- Supervise occupational health and safety compliance.
- Provide expert legal guidance to leaders.
- Represent the company before labor authorities.
- Lead workforce restructuring processes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and adapt policies.
- Contribute to insurance and pension processes.
- Implement Santander Group HR framework.
- Maintain updated HR policies and procedures.
- Implement and monitor HR audit and compliance.
- Lead HR regulatory reporting.
- Manage internal and external HR audits.
- Act as HR risk owner.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate labor risks.
- Lead internal workplace conflict resolution.
- Lead whistleblowing and grievance investigations.
- Conduct and oversee sensitive investigations.
- Ensure confidential and fair investigations.
- Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Risk.
- Recommend disciplinary or corrective actions.
- Monitor complaint trends and propose prevention.
- Ensure alignment with Code of Conduct.
- Guide managers on conflict prevention and escalation.
- Lead critical HR projects and delivery.
- Improve employee data and processes.
- Implement Workday absence management.
- Roll out collective health insurance schemes.
