Key Account Manager Oil & Gas - Robotics(m/w/x)

Requirements

  • Proven recent track record in direct sales and Key Account Management of complex, high-tech industrial solutions (ideally software-enabled hardware/robotics) within Oil & Gas and Chemical industries
  • Deep understanding of O&G ecosystem (operators, service companies, EPC contractors)
  • Exceptional knowledge of GCC procurement structures, vendor registration processes, and NOC governance models (highly preferred)
  • Relentless, go-getter mentality with resilience to navigate ambiguity, create demand, and persist through long industrial sales cycles
  • Executive presence with gravitas to engage senior stakeholders and resolve tensions in a composed, solution-oriented manner
  • Strong technical aptitude to position robotics within industrial automation and digital transformation ecosystems (DCS, asset integrity, IIoT platforms)
  • Expertise in using state-of-the-art CRM systems for pipeline management and accurate forecasting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; high adaptability to cultural differences
  • University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in engineering, business, marketing, or related field

Tasks

  • Independently manage the end-to-end sales funnel
  • Sell and deploy 30-50+ robotics units by 2027
  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans
  • Map and access multi-layered industrial organizations
  • Influence key stakeholders (Operations, Reliability, Digital, HSE, Procurement, C-Level)
  • Build internal champions within client organizations
  • Translate complex robotics data into measurable business outcomes
  • Align solutions with clients' long-term strategic objectives
  • Negotiate complex contract terms and pricing
  • Secure framework agreements for sustainable scaling
  • Develop win-win solutions for partnerships
  • Coordinate internal teams (Product, Engineering, Deployment, Customer Success)
  • Shape solutions to meet specific customer needs
  • Ensure 100% customer retention
  • Maintain strict CRM pipeline hygiene and data quality
  • Deliver highly accurate sales forecasts (±10%)
  • Provide transparent updates to leadership
  • Analyze competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Provide actionable market insights to the business
  • Influence the product roadmap
