Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in account management, sales/sales support, or business development within the automotive or automation industry
  • Strong skills in customer relationship management and negotiation
  • Good understanding of automation solutions and ideally automotive plant engineering
  • Ability to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions with cross-functional teams
  • Degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in German

Tasks

  • Manage the sales process, including opportunity generation and offer preparation
  • Negotiate commercial terms across the ABB Robotics portfolio
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key automotive customers
  • Identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions with technical and sales teams
  • Promote the complete ABB Robotics portfolio and define strategic focus areas
  • Support the Sales Manager in executing the sales strategy and achieving targets
  • Prepare for and participate in customer negotiations, focusing on sustainable value
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and drive actions for continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with internal sales teams, including service and technical support
  • Provide strategic support for pricing, technical standards, and references in other countries
  • Stay updated on automotive industry trends and share insights with the team
