Requirements
- Master of Science degree in STEM field
- Preference for engineering disciplines (chemical, mechanical, process, materials)
- PhD with initial business activities exposure
- About 2 years' experience in project management or innovation
- PhD developed in project environment close to industrial R&D
- Ability to lead and deliver cross-functional projects independently
- Prior experience in chemical industry
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Demonstrated drive and ownership mindset
- Ability to push a project forward
- Familiarity with financial evaluation tools (e.g., NPV, contribution margin)
- PMP certification or equivalent project management training
Tasks
- Lead and manage regional innovation projects (6-12 months)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple European sites
- Translate business opportunities into actionable project plans
- Track project progress using internal tools (Planner, OneNote, Teams)
- Adapt plans to evolving priorities, risks, or market dynamics
- Apply waterfall and agile project management methodologies
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at different organizational levels
- Evaluate and report on project outcomes using financial tools (NPV, ROI)
