Requirements

  • Enrolled or completed university studies in Sustainability, Food and Nutrition, Supply Chain Management, or Agricultural Sciences within last 12 months
  • Interest in food systems, nutrition, and catering industry
  • Ability to work scientifically and review studies
  • Translate evidence into practical recommendations
  • Comfortable with data analysis
  • Use Excel or similar tools for assessment
  • Knowledge of environmental sustainability topics
  • Familiarity with Swiss labels is an advantage
  • Pragmatic, analytical, and evidence-driven communicator
  • Strong German skills
  • Application encouraged even if not all qualifications met

Tasks

  • Develop a science-based fact check for procurement decisions
  • Review current studies on food and packaging trade-offs
  • Translate study findings into practical procurement guidance
  • Analyze Swiss food and animal welfare labels
  • Evaluate labels to inform procurement decisions
  • Build a prioritization matrix for sustainability actions
  • Identify high-impact areas for Roche’s sustainability goals
  • Compare the current product basket
  • Derive concrete recommendations for improvement
  • Develop guidelines for regional procurement
  • Support creation of sustainable and healthy choice nudges
  • Contribute to the Tavero F&B Charter’s evidence base
