Tasks
- Execute soybean international trade flows
- Manage vessel pipeline from nomination to settlement
- Coordinate third parties for loading and discharging
- Monitor daily operations for contractual compliance
- Anticipate and resolve operational issues
- Escalate issues to Execution Manager or Traders
- Understand commercial contracts and trade rules
- Ensure document instructions meet buyer requirements
- Issue shipping documentary instructions to sellers
- Guarantee document compliance throughout trade process
- Update front system and file supporting documentation
- Prepare and review Letters of Credit
- Negotiate LC documents with LC Execution Centre
- Prepare and review commercial invoices
- Follow up on accounts receivable
- Review and approve incoming invoices
- Escalate invoice discrepancies
- Follow up on laytime calculations
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal requirements
- Liaise with senior traders and cross-functional teams
- Build relationships with external parties
- Provide technical expertise to peers
- Develop junior team members
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
