Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering, science, or comparable qualification
- 2 to 5 years' industrial IP experience
- Patent search and analysis capabilities
- Aptitude for supporting contract negotiations (advantageous)
- Enthusiasm for IP training and communication
- Passion for technology and innovation
- Driven, analytical, and communicative personality
- Strong collaborative and result-oriented skills
- Fluency in English (C2 level)
- Proficiency in German (advantageous)
Tasks
- Execute IP-based technology landscape exercises
- Present landscape outcomes to project teams
- Perform and evaluate novelty searches
- Discuss search results with inventors
- Coordinate patent application and prosecution processes
- Liaise with external patent attorney offices
- Support IP-related contract negotiations
- Analyze and discuss competitor patent activities
- Perform IP checks for intended publications
- Analyze the company’s patent portfolio
- Synthesize portfolio findings into strategic insights
