Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of aircraft engine components. Your daily tasks will involve inspecting and assessing engine assemblies, creating repair orders, and applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• •Completed apprenticeship as Polymechanic EFZ or equivalent mechanical qualification
• •Self-motivation and precise, accountable work approach
• •Strong teamwork and excellent communication skills
• •Resilience under pressure and adaptability to changing demands
• •Proficiency in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
• •Good German and English skills (B1 level or higher)
• •Flexibility to work in a two-shift system

Tasks

• •Inspect engines, modules, and piece parts during and after disassembly
• •Ensure reused parts are serviceable and correct unacceptable findings
• •Perform technical inspections of aircraft engine assemblies (PW4000) according to OEM specifications
• •Create repair orders for engines, modules, and piece parts
• •Check modifications on individual parts and assemblies
• •Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies, including Lean Events and Root Cause Analysis
• •Handle operating materials in an environmentally conscious manner
• •Work independently and act economically
