Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Over 10 years of HSSE leadership experience in industrial, energy or process environments
  • Expertise in corporate workplace, construction, and production safety
  • Focus on health and well-being
  • Familiarity with COHS standards
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control
  • Strategic thinking with ability to translate strategy to operational execution
  • Ability to navigate high-level planning and hands-on implementation
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to develop and grow teams
  • Fostering collaboration and performance across diverse stakeholders
  • Clear and confident communication
  • Excellent internal & external stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence across different organization levels
  • Experience managing contractors, vendors, and facility operations
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and decision-making capability
  • Comfortable managing complexity, shifting priorities, and change
  • Fluent in German
  • Fluent in English

Tasks

  • Lead global HSSE function
  • Ensure consistent safety culture
  • Oversee corporate facilities and operations
  • Define and implement global HSSE strategy
  • Continuously improve safety program
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies
  • Ensure compliance and strong relationships
  • Own safety performance metrics
  • Report and drive improvement actions
  • Provide strategic leadership in Facility Management
  • Share best practices with other locations
  • Act as primary point of contact for facility matters
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and stakeholders
  • Manage HSE and facilities contracts
  • Ensure cost efficiency and contractual performance
  • Align HSSE standards with corporate execution
  • Lead and coach HSSE and Facilities Management teams
  • Foster quality, accountability, safety, and customer service
  • Act as single point of accountability for safety and operations
