Tasks

  • Ensure students’ emotional, social, and physical well-being
  • Collaborate with the Counselling team and Health Centre
  • Stay overnight in the boarding house when on duty
  • Monitor students’ academic progress
  • Provide guidance and support for academic goals
  • Liaise with teachers to address concerns and celebrate achievements
  • Encourage teamwork, respect, and responsibility among boarders
  • Instill core values and promote a positive house culture
  • Engage in student activities to lead by example
  • Inspire students to pursue their interests
  • Oversee daily logistics such as dining supervision
  • Supervise weekend activities
  • Transport students when required
  • Maintain regular communication with parents
  • Provide updates on students’ well-being, academic progress, and personal development
  • Respond to maintenance issues, medical emergencies, or missing students
  • Follow established protocols for crisis management
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Handle administrative tasks efficiently
  • Exhibit empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
  • Help students from diverse backgrounds integrate and thrive
