Tasks
- Ensure students’ emotional, social, and physical well-being
- Collaborate with the Counselling team and Health Centre
- Stay overnight in the boarding house when on duty
- Monitor students’ academic progress
- Provide guidance and support for academic goals
- Liaise with teachers to address concerns and celebrate achievements
- Encourage teamwork, respect, and responsibility among boarders
- Instill core values and promote a positive house culture
- Engage in student activities to lead by example
- Inspire students to pursue their interests
- Oversee daily logistics such as dining supervision
- Supervise weekend activities
- Transport students when required
- Maintain regular communication with parents
- Provide updates on students’ well-being, academic progress, and personal development
- Respond to maintenance issues, medical emergencies, or missing students
- Follow established protocols for crisis management
- Maintain accurate records
- Handle administrative tasks efficiently
- Exhibit empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
- Help students from diverse backgrounds integrate and thrive
