Tasks
- Manage onsite High-Performance Compute (HPC) SLURM clusters
- Ensure service delivery for SLURM HPC clusters
- Act as primary service manager and technical lead
- Serve as escalation point for user support requests
- Gather user requirements and usage best practices
- Configure, upgrade, and monitor HPC clusters
- Provide ongoing cluster maintenance
- Ensure high resource utilization via HTCondor brokered backfill
- Define procedures and best practices for operational support
- Identify synergies for compute resource management
- Facilitate access to high-performance compute resources
