Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree (MS, MPH, MPP, MBA, PhD or MD) in Economics, Health Economics, Life Sciences, Health Policy or related field
  • 7+ years market access experience for medical devices or pharmaceutical products (reimbursement, health economics, HTA and funding applications)
  • 7+ years’ experience in health economics, outcomes research or medical device technology assessment, with a track record of successful reimbursement and funding applications in the health care environment.
  • Good knowledge of health economic model application, development and review
  • Experience in conducting outcomes research projects and developing value propositions
  • Good knowledge of European reimbursement systems
  • English fluency
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, cross-cultural collaboration, strong project management, results orientation, quality orientation

Tasks

  • Lead development and execution of reimbursement strategies
  • Develop health economic strategies for patient access
  • Secure optimal reimbursement and funding for SH products
  • Create clinical and economic evidence for HTA
  • Develop health economic evaluations and value propositions
  • Produce customer-facing economic tools
  • Deliver evidence and tools for HTA and reimbursement
  • Expand market access of TAVI and TPV in EMEA
  • Optimize HTA, reimbursement applications, and DRG funding
  • Support VBHC programs and risk sharing contracts
  • Develop hospital- and payer-level business cases
  • Provide input to evidence development plans
  • Contribute to clinical study design
  • Measure healthcare utilization and patient outcomes
  • Analyze real-world healthcare administrative datasets
  • Execute cost-effectiveness and cost-utility analyses
  • Conduct cost-of-illness and budget impact analyses
  • Develop product value stories
  • Create regional value dossiers
  • Analyze and communicate clinical and economic evidence
  • Publish research findings
  • Serve as internal expert on SH product reimbursement
  • Identify risks and opportunities for business planning
  • Represent Reimbursement and Health Economics externally
