Requirements

• 15+ years leadership in technology or consulting
• 10+ years in Delivery and Portfolio Management
• Pharmaceutical or BioTech industry experience preferred
• Degree in IT or related area
• Grasp of IT governance and finance
• Knowledge of AI, Data, and Cloud
• Ability to lead and mentor teams
• Ability to translate goals into roadmaps
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Relationship building with business and tech
• Experience managing cross-functional partner relationships

Tasks

• Own the end-to-end Strategy to Portfolio value stream
• Translate Roche Group strategies into actionable digital initiatives
• Convert Corporate Executive Committee priorities into measurable outcomes
• Partner with senior leaders to co-create a unified technology roadmap
• Define and oversee RDT outsourcing and location strategies
• Implement internal workforce strategies to ensure execution capacity
• Identify opportunities to shape the digital environment using market insights
• Drive a unified approach to technical debt and innovation
• Establish robust governance frameworks for efficient resource allocation
• Drive the investment governance process with RDTLT and business leaders
• Evaluate the value of business initiatives and manage the RDT portfolio
• Balance funding across RDT functions using a three-tiered governance model
• Provide data-driven transparency on portfolio health and business outcomes
• Report on value contribution, costs, and resource utilization
• Lead and mentor a team of Functional Portfolio Heads
• Transform business priorities into lean, high-impact technology solutions
• Oversee the Practices, Tools, and Insights function
• Improve and measure adoption of portfolio management practices
• Ensure high data integrity and decision support for initiatives
• Recruit, coach, and develop a diverse team of experts
• Foster a high-performing and data-driven organizational culture
