Requirements
- Proven experience in wealth inequality theories, measurement systems, and research models
- Understanding of JBF's approach to decrease socio-economic class gaps
- Develops new Wealth Inequality proposals and ensures projects become role models
- Represents JBF on Wealth Inequality think tanks, platforms, and conferences
- Manages JBF’s Wealth Inequality partners and projects with a small team
- Runs calls for proposals, due diligence, evaluation, and monitoring
- Develops grant agreements with milestones and KPIs
- Oversees impact measurement and external evaluations
- Initiates and manages relationships with clients and donors for partnerships
- Collaborates with client advisors and BJB functions on philanthropy
- Represents the Foundation at client events
- Represents Foundation in Bank and industry events, panels, conferences
- Develops thought leadership and initiatives to increase JBF impact
- Leads and participates in communications activities
- Contributes to growing industry profile and visibility of JBF
- Deputizes for CEO internally and externally
- Supports leading Foundation from strategy, governance, and board perspective
- Regular engagement with board members and senior leaders
- Manages small team including budgetary and HR issues
- Master's or PhD in Economics, Sociology, International Development or Development Studies
- Experience at research institution, foundation or NGO on Wealth Inequality
- Previous experience in a corporate environment preferred
- Strong ambition to position 'Wealth Inequality' in a Private Bank
- Experience managing international grant programmes and partnerships
- Experience engaging HNWIs and/or donors
- Good knowledge and broad network in research, development or civil society community
- Able to translate complex research facts into compelling language
- Team leadership experience
- Near-native English writing and speaking skills
- Lived or significant professional experience in country affected by wealth inequality
- Willingness to travel to international project locations, conferences, and offices
Tasks
- Lead all grant programmes on wealth inequality
- Deputize for the Foundation’s CEO
- Represent the Foundation in the philanthropic sector
- Engage with bank clients and other donors
- Explain and present theories on wealth inequality
- Understand and deepen JBF’s approach to reducing socio-economic gaps
- Identify and develop new wealth inequality proposals
- Ensure projects become role models in their sectors
- Represent JBF on wealth inequality think tanks and conferences
- Manage JBF’s wealth inequality partners and projects
- Run calls for proposals and due diligence
- Evaluate and monitor all projects
- Develop grant agreements with milestones and KPIs

- Initiate and manage funding and knowledge partnerships
