Developing scalable people processes and driving recruitment for a fintech serving 40+ banks worldwide. Strong understanding of German labor law and HR compliance required. 30 days annual leave, €1,000 yearly education budget.
Requirements
- Strong People & Culture / HR Background
- Several years of experience in People & Culture, HR Business Partnering, People Operations, or similar role
- Experience in growing organization (scale-up environment a plus)
- Solid Knowledge of Employment Law & Compliance
- Strong understanding of German labor law (Arbeitsrecht) and HR compliance
- Experience with international setups (especially UK) a plus
- Leadership and Stakeholder Management Skills
- Experience leading or mentoring team members
- Strong communication skills and confidence with senior leadership
- Ability to challenge, influence, and advise leaders constructively

Tasks
- Own the People & Culture agenda
- Act as main contact for leadership and employees
- Lead and develop the People & Culture team
- Set clear team priorities using OKRs
- Align People initiatives with company goals
- Foster a culture of trust and transparency
- Promote a high-performance culture
- Oversee compliant HR operations
- Manage employee lifecycle processes (contracts, onboarding, offboarding)
- Develop and implement HR policies
- Manage employee documentation and benefits
- Set clear standards for HR operational execution
- Provide direction to the HR operations team
- Build and improve scalable HR processes
- Ensure compliance with labor law and HR standards
- Advise managers and leadership
- Serve as a sparring partner for leaders
- Support leaders in complex employee situations
- Guide leaders through performance management
- Facilitate conflict resolution for leaders
- Assist leaders with organizational changes
- Drive leadership development initiatives
- Implement coaching and training formats
- Develop structured leadership development plans
- Define recruitment strategy and priorities

- Provide strategic direction for Talent Acquisition
- Oversee quality of Talent Acquisition activities
- Ensure effective execution across all locations
- Refine hiring frameworks and processes
- Ensure hiring processes are fast and structured
- Align hiring processes with company culture
- Partner with leaders to elevate interview quality
- Improve assessment standards with leaders
- Enhance hiring decisions with leaders
- Create employee development frameworks
- Define employee growth paths
- Support internal mobility and development
- Build scalable training offerings
- Support employees and leaders through training
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Office Management
- Partner with Payroll and Works Council
